I have a minute, so extreme housecleaning shall begin now.  If stuff looks weird for a bit that’s why.

Hmmm, yeah.  I was planning to do a bunch of housecleaning anyway to get ready for the comic lauch, I think while I’m doing that I’ll also move much of the reblogs to a new, inspo only blog and then keep most reblogging over there only in the future.  I’ll obviously link to it once this is done.

I’m going to be honest and admit that I prefer when you do art posts. I’ve considered unfollowing before NOT because I don’t love you but because I feel like the balance is off - like it’s 90% reblogs and only 10% your art/convos which is really

I see what you mean.  The main point of the reblogging is to keep the place from seeming dead/boring when I’m in a slow period where many things are hush hush like I am right now.  Once the the comic actually launches my plan was to stop reblogging almost entirely because I figure then I’d have enough to say publicly to keep things steadily rolling on their own.  but maybe this plan is flawed…

let them know somehow that the art reblogs are relevant to your verse, maybe mention the pinterest too?

I probably will edit the “about” to make it even more blatant, but my theory is that people aren’t looking at the about in the first place when they follow/unfollow (like they follow after I reblog some stuff and get confused when I start talking about a comic or post my own art, or they follow for my art then get confused when I reblog things and assume they followed a reblog blog by mistake and unfollow).

I wonder if I’m confusing people with all the art reblogging I do?  I’m p sure there are many people only following me for that and not for squishy/Rocket Candy (which I don’t mind exactly, I’m not the boss of you, i’m just wondering if they’re aware of what this place is actually for/what it’s gonna eventually become and if they’d still want to follow if they knew) and on the flipside I usually get several unfollows whenever I reblog a lot of stuff, and I fret these are people who followed me for my art and are either confused by the reblogging or don’t like it.

I know I could split it up, but I actually consider most of the reblogs relevant to the project (in a very indirect/abstract way obvs, but still relevant) and I like having it all together. but…
